Thank you for looking at my ceramics page!
My love for ceramics probably came from being a child of the 70’s. Our house was decorated with lamps, ashtrays, and vases with these crazy drippy glazes. I was always interested in art and took art classes through grade school and high school. I hand built things in school but never used a wheel.
At some point I must have become nostalgic and started collecting pottery from thrift stores and antique stores.
And wishing I could make clay.
In 2015 my daughter and I enrolled in wheel throwing at Mesa Arts Center. I was hooked. I continued taking classes until I moved to Bisbee in 2018.
I built my own studio at our house in Bisbee and continued to work on clay. Since then I have been in Bisbee and Mesa, working with clay.
